acbI started Gaim today, and it complained that it could not log into Yahoo Instant Messenger. Network outage, or Yahoo following MSN's lead and locking the Linux-using riffraff out of their network? Time will tell...
I've gotten to the point where I can't fit any more music on my 20Gb Archos Jukebox Recorder without deleting something, and I've deleted most of the obvious things I'm not going to listen to. (The fact that I rip my MP3s with lame --preset standard probably contributes.) I'm tempted to void the warranty and replace its hard disk with one of those new 60Gb laptop drives. (Given that there's no Australian distributor and calling on the warranty would involve shipping it to France or wherever, that's not much of a dilemma.)
Update: Yahoo's back. Looks like it was one of those network outages.
