snow

It snowed properly this morning. Large snowflakes, not the small ones we've had so far, falling so fast as to cover the ground in a dense white carpet. Houses, cars, fences were all covered with snow. It looked like a vintage Christmas card; I'll post some photos later tonight.

I recently picked up the Bloc Party album. As far as new-new-wave garage-revivalist NME Carling Rock bands go, they sound quite passable; above all the Futureheads/Killers/Yourcodenameis:Milos/other contenders for the crown of the "next Franz Ferdinand". In places, they sound like Interpol crossed with The Cure's last album.
