I picked up the second Field Mice rerelease, Skywriting + Singles, from Rough Trade this afternoon; I'm listening to it now. The quality is much better than the MP3s that have been floating around the piranets (it's remastered from master tapes or somesuch, rather than ripped from vinyl), and there are tracks I haven't heard before on the two CDs. It's good to have good quality copies of Humblebee and Song Six (aka the he's-just-saying-that-to-get-laid song).
I also picked up Joanna Newsom's The Milk-Eyed Mender, to help me decide whether she's worth spending £15 on seeing. It's good in places, though perhaps a bit too Appalachian-folkways (then again, I thought that about the White Stripes too). The jury's still out on whether or not it's outsider art.
