I stopped by at PolyEster Records today, to see if they had Morrissey's Irish Blood, English Heart. They didn't, but they did have Radiohead's Com Lag, a compilation of B-sides and remixes from the Hail To The Thief singles, released for the Japanese market. It appears to be a kosher CD, unlike the local singles, and comes with two booklets, including one with comprehensive lyrics in English and Japanese. The packaging looks a lot less cryptic than Radiohead's packaging for Western markets; I wonder whether this is a cultural thing (perhaps the Japanese don't equate obscurantism with profundity and seriousness?)
