It was a beautiful, crisp, clear December afternoon today. Being Christmas Day, virtually all of London was closed, and parts of the city were eerily deserted, other than the odd person in a fur-trimmed red Santa cap (which, in this climate, actually makes sense, or would if the caps in question provided actual insulation) and kids playing with newly-received bikes, scooters and such.

I wandered around and took some pictures, returning only when (a) my camera battery ran down and (b) my hands were numb. The light today was particularly good for photography, especially around the canal.
