reddragdiva's heads-up, I trekked down to the Australian Embassy in Rome to see about voting in the upcoming election and what needs to be done. I found that the embassy was closed until Monday (i.e., after enrolments close), as they're relocating it. Coincidence, or conspiracy to disenfranchise non-Tory-voting pinko backpacker types in Italy?
Anyway, I've checked my enrolment online, and it's valid. With any luck, I should be able to vote in London just by rocking up on the day with my passport. (There's nothing there saying one can't, as far as I can see.)
