I've been listening to the new Spearmint album a bit lately and it's growing on me. First-rate indie-pop, great songwriting about things like the experience of really getting into a book, thinking about what really matters in life, and about the profusion of things one accumulates over the years and ends up not having a use for. Quite heartfelt in places, though never hackneyed or cliché. And the musical arrangements are excellent too.
