For those reading this who will be in Melbourne in a week or so's time: the mighty FourPlay String Quartet are coming to town, for not one but two shows. (They're playing at the Espy on the 7th, and doing two sets at Bar Open on the 9th.)
I strongly recommend seeing them; they rock. Literally. Put aside any preconceptions you may have about the words "string quartet", these guys tear the roof off wherever they play. And they're really good too. The Espy gig's free, not sure about the Bar Open one. Go and check them out; you'll be glad you did.
